agfa rip support

Dear Sear ...
we are need little bit technical info about agfa rips like (taipan 3.1 or apogge pdf series 2 and up)
we are want to expose one bit tiff screened files comes from flexrip from (esko) with avantra ppd support
on our avantra 44S we are drive it by apogge pdf series 2
but when send the tiff files it flush the rest of the job and move the image to ERROR folder .
our agfa local agency they doesn't have the requirement experience to solve the problem

any suggest we are welcome ...

Could it be a resolution issue? To output screened 1 bit TIFF properly, the file resolution has to be the same as the output device resolution to avoid moiré patterns.

no i try several supoorted resulation the resul is same i see this error in rip

any idea?

dear colorblind
you can do the same thing (image one bit tiff)on apoge X ?
the problem is the agfa rip when reimage the backup job actually is a one bit tiff file and it done .
i think there is a method to send image directly to machine not to rip ...
any idea ?

Never tried yet with screened 1 bit tiffs. I would be surprised you can by-pass a rip to image your 1 bit file. Wish I could help you more. Good luck.

As I mentionned in Esko's section, you need a specific option from Agfa, something name Tiff input.
I'm sorry it's a bit old for me (more than 2 years ago), and I can't remember the exact name.
This is not provided with Agfa standard configuration...
