Overprinting when job is ripped

Does anyone have this problem? When you are trying to rip a job and the object overprints. Even though in your file it is knocking out and in the PDF itself says that the object is knocking out. But when it goes through the rip it overprints. I get this once in awhile and was wondering if there is a fix. Happens in all the programs.

Are you using Apogee? If yes what version. What kind of object is overprinting? Is it vector files or raster? All colors or just black? Spot or process or both? Does it originate from PC, Mac or both?

Have you tried making a pre-separated PDF?

Just had that problem with a 100% black rule over a cmyk built bar. You may need to edit to just butt up against and kinda manual trap. I have had success by making a rich black and that seems too work as well

Assuming you are using ApogeeX it most likely is happening in the render task processor, either under trap or render. Start off under render and see if you have set any black lines to overprint, if that doesn't fix it, adjust some of the trapping options. If you have the pdf trapping TP, I believe there is a setting in there too.

Sorry I have been slammed at work. This is the first chance I had to look at forums. We are using apogeex and I've tried everything you suggested before. The art can be vector and raster, all colors and black.

I've noticed this with white objects, especially type. This has occurred even when "force white knockout" is checked. hopefully I'm not digressing here.
