ApogeeX 2.5 / Tiger / PDF-Viewing Problems

Hi all,

We're running ApogeeX 2.5 and are quite happy with it. Unfortunatly I updated my Mac to 10.4.x (from today: 10.4.2). Now, everything is fine with the ApogeeX client (Speed etc) but I'm not able to view any PDF results. Raster-Data is working fine, but neither single PDF's nor imposed PDF's show in Acrobat/Preview. We're running a DNS and "nslookup's" are all ok (both ip and name from the server to the client and vv). The ApogeeX-Server is a Windows2003 SP1.

When double clicking a PDF (although the ApogeeDataStore is mounted) the client tells me that "there is information needed from the volume bla bla bla", I continue and after about 2 seconds the next message pops up saying "he can't identify my server xserver1".

Anyone / anyclue?????

We just upgraded to 10.4.8 OS last Fri. and I am encountering exactly same problem which is why I was researching. Sorry I can't help now, but I will keep you posted on any finds. J

Hey there could you be a little more specific? You may need to add the AX servers into your hosts files.

Well the situation here is as follows

ApX2.5>PrntDrvPilot(sries3)>Galileo
(Pdfs via Normalize)

2Mac>WrkSttns

1st G5_OS 10.3.9_No Problems with authenticating.

2nd G5_OS10.4.8(recent Upgrade to accomidate Q7), this is where my problem begins.

I have only been able to see my network by hit or miss on reboot

My ApX Hot Folder and Raster Data mount on boot, but cann't get to my archieve or export folders. all properties seem to funtion dragging over to X Server, But while in X I cann't preview a ripped pdf in my P.Pagestore, nor from an exsisting job page list, Before upgrade both were possible.

I had read a post about adding host, not sure how to go about if anyone can help it would greatly apprctd.
