Photoshop logos

I have been using ApogeeX for the last 6 months and am pleased overall, however I have noticeds that it does a lousy job of saving logos that are created in Photoshop. It seems to take a 100% color and forces dots into it. It does not matter if it is monotone, grayscale, or 4 color there will be solid lines that are rastered inot dot patterns. I have also noticed that it will put contamining colr into solid areas. For instance, in a 100% yellow area, there will be 1%-2% dot of cyan and magenta. It matters not if it is a 300 dpi image, or a 1200 dpi image, the problem persists. Anyone else have this experience, or have any ideas about handeling it?

Sounds like a colour mangement issue.

Could be apogge doing it, or come colourmanagement being applied before it even gets to appogee.

If I'm not mistaken but ApogeeX shouldn't have anything to do with your logos. It's probably the programs. Apogee is just the server your using.

The problem is that our old Delta system handled these same logs without a problem, kept them nice and sharp. I'm leaning toward the normalizer in Apogee, just checking to see if anyone else has seen this.
Thanks for the replies so far.

It might be how it goes through the rip. Whoever set up your system might have the wrong settings or the settings might have to be tweaked. We've been using apogeeX and I haven't seen anything like you describe.
