Spreads and Chokes

Hi ! I'm new here So here's my first question I need to know how to spread type using Pitstop or with Acrobat 7.0 Pro. I have a PDF supplied with green type with a black drop shadow, I'm getting white between the Green and black just came off press. Thanks

If the type doesn't have a stroke, you can add one in Pitstop. Set the width you want to add for a trap. Set the stroke to overprint. If it already contains a stroke, you can make it wider, selecting overprint just on the stroke.
