Can't save file - wants to update

Running on Mac OS 9.2 with Acrobat 5.0.5. I've opened 2 files recently and received this msg. "This file may contain newer info than this viewer can support. It may not open or display correctly." It won't allow me to save it, export it, etc. It's grayed out. I believe the file was made with Distiller 6.0. Yet, I can save it with Acrobat 4.0. Any ideas?

You are absolutly correct, This is a message you get from Acrobat 6
I think you have to open it in 6 and resave to 5 to open it in Acrobat 5 also you might need a plug in but I'm not sure.

The problem is I don't have Acrobat 6. Just strange that I can open it up in 4.0 and save it.

Thank you, but I already did it using 4.0. Hopefully it will be OK. Maybe next time I get one I'll take you up on that offer.
