I've successfully opened Photoshop images in PDFs (Acro7) by using EditObjects Tool in Advanced Editing Menu (Tools). It's an Opt>d/click (after selecting the image with the Tool), and the PhSh image opens (in PhSh), where you can edit (no new layers, though); and Save it straight back into the PDF. It's great when it works, but lately it crashes PhSh as it's trying to open. I've submitted crash reports...anyone experiencing this too? I know you can import the PDF into PhSh, but this method seems to be a cleaner route from a PDF point of view. If anyone has a few idle moments to test it; would be appreciated.

All I was gonna do I was see if OPI was used to make the PDF. I need to run the remove OPI action in PitStop on about 75% of the PDF's I get if I want to do anything with an image including edit original.

Thanks for the reply almaink. Am up at work now, we have had a loony few days. Was posting the query from home; coupla things...Tool is TouchUpObjects Tool, not EditObjects. (No Mac with Acro at home). Also, file was some days ago, and it's identity escapes me...embarrassing. However, just tried it on some orig, good quality PDFs on a previously supplied job, and it worked a treat. So at least it's not a system flakiness on my Mac (I'm assuming). Next time I trip over one, I'll post it.
Just on the topic of posting, what's the go for attaching a file via PPF? Via PM? If so, what's the method for attaching? A bit green on this stuff on forums.
