printing guide marks

Does anyone know of a way to include the guide marks I've drawn in Acrobat. Using 6 & 7. I would like to be able to open a layout(pdf), open rulers, draw out guides and print a color laser(including those guides)... mainly for our cutter because of the gang runs we do.

Is this possible? If not, I personally think it'd be a great feature to include in Acrobat 8.

TIA guys..... :P

Do you print impo proofs of the gang runs prior to plating?
I do, and it has all the marks and color bars on the proof. It even uses a dotted green line to show the press sheet.

or did i miss this completely.....

yea yea, you are completely right _vee. ops: but no, alot of times we do just one-up epsons for the press to match, because we do so many postcards and NO books or catalogs... so I print impo proofs shrunk down to letter size on my laser printer since I have NO way to do a blueline. impo is very basic on most of our jobs(except those with 5+ different final trim sized pieces), I was just looking for a way to give our cutter a mock up of his cuts fairly easily, without having to draw it out manually....

...but your very right, I guess Im telling on myself a little here.  I try to conserve the epson paper. ...probably too much.

How large of a sheet can you print on your Epson? Can you get some cheap #70 uncoated paper to print full size mock ups on? The quality isn't great but you can see what's going on and you can still print good epsons for the press. We do that with almost everything that comes through. If you are sneaky you can even back the things up.

you could use the drawing tools/line tool to draw your lines instead of guides.

 ?
