I use Acr. 7 Pro to save my PDF's out to EPS format. When I tell it to convert all text to outlines....it only does it sometimes. I have tried assigning it to referenced and embedded fonts. I'm assuming that these clients aren't preparing their PDF's correctly.

The advantage of using the EPS conversion is obvious, I just can't get all of the PSF's that I'm given to cooperate right.

It will only convert to outlines if the page contains transparency. If you have Pit Stop Pro you can add a transparent object and it will then convert to outlines during the eps save.

Why on Earth would you want to convert all the type to outlines? If you need to make an EPS of the page, use Level 3 PostScript that is binary.

Some workflow's don't support level 3 postscript Matt.

I use a nexus workflow...and yes, it does support Level 3 postscript. I don't have pit stop pro... But I think there may be a better workaround.

Okay, if it doesn't support L3 PostScript then save it as L2 PostScript. If your (not yours specifically) doesn't support L2, then you have much bigger problems.
