Acrobat 4 distiller joboptions to Acrobat 5 Distiller

Guys,

Do you think theres a big difference if like i had Acrobat 4 distiller joboptions and I send to an Acrobat 5 Distiller user? If it does, what are the difference?

I've just run a test on this and all the options selected seem to have migrated.

I can't see any real difference between versions 4 & 5 apart from a few more color options.

just had the experience once that a printshop with a old rip had now and again problems with pdf's higher than 1.2.
had to distill all jobs down to version 3.

pdf 1.3 or higher came often out with a pink background or lowresolution. but not always. happend most often with supplied pdf's.

but sure todays rips handle everything, problem is just not every little printshop or studio have new hardware...
