once EFI took over the best it rip completely changed. Our first trainer that came in to set it up had used Best for years and couldn't figure out the EFI Colorproof. We ended up hiring another guy to come in for a day to do it.
From what I recall, when you linearize the proof it creates a file that is the paper description that you then have to move to another folder to be able to use. I'll have to dig out my notes for anything more specific. We also had to iterate the profile at least 3 or 4 times to get a good match within 2 deltaE
