I am looking for any and all advice/recommendations for a CTP System for business forms printing. (Before contacting my equipment/supply reps - I want to sound like I have at least half a clue!) Currently we step and repeat masked negs on a Strobbe 400 Autoload using Kodak KPG Winner plates. The plate lengths range from 15.750" up to 27.750". All plate sizes run 1.750" longer than press insert size - this accomodates gap/gripper margin as well as lead and tail bend distance. (Example; 14" insert = 15.750" plate length, 26" insert = 27.750" plate, these are the smallest and largest sizes in house and all plates/inserts are 21" wide) We are still old school and know nothing about workflow, apps, etc..please be kind.
