Time Savings?
It is Saturday morning 3 a.m. and I am called for a press check. I notice a problem with an illustrator logo. I tell the pressman to shut down the press and that the problem must be fixed. I then have to call in the pre-press department to come in at 3:30 a.m. on a Saturday. Yes, they are ready to kill me... I don't blame them.
The press was shut down for 2 hours and four new plates had to be made. Yeah, I'd say that dragging and dropping or copying and pasting is a huge time saver (can you feel the sarcasm). This one logo cost us about $1000.
