We had this problem with proofs not matching the press once. I spent the day rechecking the LAB and Delta E's. Press crew was saying how much I suck blah blah blah, turned out the pressman hadn't flipped a certain switch for one of the press towers. Within a matter of seconds, the problem was corrected, and my proof matched the press. 6 hours of down time over pride. Of course, I was still my fault. No Slur marks on the impo. I was told they didn't need slur marks a few months earlier.. go figure.
