Well it didn't make a difference in my life, it just showed me a mindset that didn't mind spending 60 seconds just to let me me know I was helpful to them today. I do what I do for my paycheck, not approval. The goody of that email was that it made me feel like part of a team, not as part of the payroll.
lol @ David's comment...nah, the "other side" is the main production side. I work on the "geeky" side. Big place, automation, blah blah blah.....the production manager can tell me if I can go home early, but isn't my first boss.
