There are various routes in the "re-fries" listed above. Seem to recall I got around a similar one by: 1. New page in Indy. 2. Place the said offending PDF in a Frame. 4. Save. 5. Postscript the page via the Print Dialogue Box, paying special attention to the options, e.g. font downloading. You will Distill this .ps to have a look at it anyway, but you might be better off using the .ps into PREPS, [assuming PS in> PS out]. It's amazing how a .ps print can stabilize an errant PDF sometimes.
Or you could try using the resulting PDF in a PDF in> PDF out flow.
