Someone very close to me is very sick with a long term incureable chronic disease. Make a long story short her employer has dumped her because the HMO dumped her and would not help her at all to find a qualified doctor to treat this rare condition. She's no good to the employer or the for profit HMO so the HMO shuggs her off as a nut when infact she's been diagnosed with this most painful physical disease. Her COBRA insurance will cost her 1300 bucks a month. This is one reason why people look at their jobs for insurance mainly. Don't get sick is right!
