Dear Longy,
I am sorry to say that I am not a dealer for any software.
Its just I am curious in solving issues.
however, below is what you can try.
- For the files that go to your ctp, double click the file in the queue to check if the size is the same as the intake size of the ctp.
- Also do not forget to check the configuration path from the WinNT system to the CtP File input folder.
- Is it for all the jobs or for any specific job.
- If possible please attach a log file from the RIP/Sw folder
- If i am not wrong there should be direct .exe file for launching the stopper application.( If possible or if u remember the name of the stopper application correctly do a SEARCH for the file)
- If you do have a shortcut of your RIP on the desktop, the easiest way to find is to right click on it and then click on properties, click on find target. you may find active queues and held queues here. The jobs are here.
Apart from that I would like to know where do you live? May be I am too curious to solve the problem. Ar you in around UK???
Now coming to the efficiency , are you planing to change for a new CTP or a new software for the CTP??
As I think it would better to change the software than to the ctp. Do you just make a PS and then send it to the HQ Rip?..then there are several benefits which I think I will need to write a separate mail for that.
Let me know if this helps.
Cheers !!
