Dear Longy,
I think it would be a better Idea to get a Independent output controller for your queue. I am sure there is a software that helps the oldest version of the RIP. Do not forget the the efficent way to use the RIP is only to RIP and not to use it as an output controller. You are wasting your time with the jobs in the queue.
Apart from that if you could give me a remote connection to your output controller I would be more than happy to have a look and give you some advice as I have been doing this all my life.
