The "Remap All to CMYK + Gray" Action List will make sure that you're only end up with DeviceCMYK + DeviceGray color space. So any Calibrated color space or impure Gray (such as RGB/CMYK gray) will be converted.

Why don't you work with a color range instead of selecting all tints? You can say e.g. select all RGB objects that have a range between 0 and 5 RGB.

You can use the remap color action for this. It's easy because you can add different configurations in the same action.

Just beware that this will only work on flat colors (cfr. text and line art objects). Images are a whole different ball park.
