Hi Marc -

comments =

and at what price will the software be offered? (USD)
Thank You

The trial version of PDF2ID will only be available after we ship in
September. There is no trial version that is going to be available before
September. Now, the Trial version has many many limitations -

A. Up to 1st 10 pages converted
B. All images are downsampled to 72dpi
C. Every other character is a random-text character
D. Expires after 14 days
E. Only 10 conversions allowed
F. And Many More Restrictions

We've exhibited at the following shows -

MacWorld 2007 San Francisco
CRE8/PDF Conference May 2007 - Orlando
InDesign Conference - June - New York

So, we're very confident of our solution and we are also in constant touch
with Adobe. Please note, we may at the end decide not to offer a trial
version that even converts 10 pages. We may restrict it to just 1 page.

If you would like to make an Advance Order of PDF2ID, let us know and we
will put your name on the list.

The cost of PDF2ID per license is US$249.00

Regards -

Still I hope it's as good as they say. As an independent and not having PitStop (current version 7.2 for $699 USDUSD) $249 may be the way to go. Once converted using Illustrator to modify vector art and Photoshop to correct raster art and place in a page layout like InDesign would be a no brainer
