I've found that clicking on the desktop tends to update the Finder after
Distilling a file. Still not as fast as on the FeeCee, but it can help. To update
my open Finder windows faster I switch views. A quick Cmmd + 1, then a
Cmmd + 2 (or + 3 or whatever combo you want to use), will update the window.
