sometimes after unstuffing a .sitx file only a folder/file or two will appear, when i create a new folder in the that folder all of the files stuffed will show up...wtf?

i have had this issue from time to time with clients and today uploaded a file to a clients ftp site. they insisted that it didn't show up.

i asked them to create a new folder on their ftp site and poof, there it was...any ideas what causes this?
