I can't agree with that statement. You'll be surprised how poor communication is among the people in this field. Designers can't understand why they can't do certain things. Prepress folks can't stand idiots that won't confirm to their workflow standards. Throw in a sales rep in between the two and often you can see how long things gets turn around.
