First off, you should really convert all your .grs files to pdf. It's easy and the files should really work better, especially if you're using transparency.

I'm not understanding your question correctly. Are you saying you have a .grs file that has no ct's, but when you save it and re-open, it now has ct's? Saving a .grs file will not convert vector linework to ct's.

I'm needing some more info to fully understand your issue.

cheers and let me know,
David
Hi, thanks a lot for replying.

Yes David, when i reopen the file, it has ct's, may be from a gradient or like you said before, due to some transparency.. but this is really funny indeed, cos it doesnt happen all the time.

Generally i export the pdfscope file as grs, cos it's faster to work with it, especially if your PC is not a great one. So, in this case, grs is lighter than pdfscope to work with.

And also like i said before, packedge applies the mask to the linework. For example, you know when you have a layer in photoshop with a mask and then "apply mask"? well, it's just the same... i dont have the full linework anymore, just what i could see before with the mask.

It's odd 'cos in backstage we choose the file to work with as pdfscope, so it's a full pdf, but when i am exporting it as grs, the file has these errors and i have to start all over again as pdfscope file. But if we start in backstage as grs, the error is the same.

Well David, i hope i've made more sense this time.

Thanks in advance.
Marcello
