bluekivi,

Your suggestion would most certainly work, it is also the solution I am trying to avoid. I want to be able to automate the reduction. I do appreciate your input.

frailer,

I am working with Acrobat Professional 7.0.9 and Pitstop 6.5.3. The Global Change is exactly what I was using. There is no option specifically named "Scale Entire Page". The options I have in the Global Change are found under Global Change>Page>Position>Scale Contents. Under Scale Contents the choices are 1.) Shrink to Fit 2.) Scale to Fit 3.) Scale Contents to... X% & Y%.

scottws,

We will be using ECRM WorkMates (ECRM's version of Harlequin). Your mention of printer drivers leads me to another thought/question. Our pages are designed in Quark 5.0. I am wondering if there is a printer driver or xtension that would enable scaling to be applied on the width or height independently?

Thanks all for your input

Swany
