Resizing Page Width

Greetings to all,

I work for a newspaper. I need to change the width (x axis) of our pdf pages from 12.5” to 12” (96%) leaving the height (y axis) 100%. I tried the following in Pit Stop.

Reduced the media box by .25” on the left and right

Then

Scale contents to x=96% y=100%, Anchor point set to center

The contents scaled as above however despite anchoring the scaling to the center the contents scaled to the lower left corner of the page thus leaving the contents not centered.

I also tried Shrink to Fit with the same result.

I also tried the sequence in reverse, scaling the contents before resizing the media box however it netted the same result.

Any ideas

Swany
