There was a background with a kind of graduating "hole" in the middle of it on one layer, then a splash of liquid (duotone) above that, then a piece of fruit above that, then other various art. The arthouse set the file up as a cmyk image and they want us to map the images to special colors... but as you can imagine, it's not as simple as mapping cmyk and you're done :roll: It worked ok to send the images over separately then map them separately... just thought it would be nice if they would come over as separate layers and separate images from ps.
I'm not sure about making a new channel... I can get around on a mac, but we have people here that are better at that than me, and I had to get to work on another project.
Thanks for your help. I'm glad I've found this forum... could be handy... somehow I like this better actually than making a call to Esko... seems to be hassle... you call, they have to call you back, then when they finally get back, you have to be reminded of what question you asked since there is no documentation of the question... and by that time, you're working on several other problems! Too bad they don't have an website for troubleshooting, etc. I've always wished that there was a place we could go for simple answers to problems that others have already sifted though.
