With the default profile selected go to your preferences and set your location of your templates and marks. I believe this will take care of it.
I think that when you change from the default profile to the one that you use Preps noticed that the locations are different. Any restart of the software and it reverts back to the default profile.
If you only use one profile, you could save it over the default.
When we were on version 4, I set my shortcut to the profile we used, this launched preps with our profile and we never had to change it. This doesn't work in 5.
