Point taken.

But, the reason I never took the time to learn publisher was for all those years that I was cutting my teeth in prepress, Publisher was a true DOG that wasn't capable of doing what was needed for a conventional press.

Also, for the price of Adobe's Creative Suite, I can't recommend Publisher even if I know that the only thing that they will ever use their layout program for is a monthly church flyer.

I didn't mean to offend anyone that actually has taken the time to become familiar with the program, and I would have myself if it was worth learning back in the day. But, unfortunately, anytime I need to do something in a layout program I reach for Quark. I always recommend InDesign to customers because they will end up buying the Creative Suite anyway to get the other programs that they will need.

It is a PDF world (in my world), so I don't really care what anyone uses as long as they can get it to me as a PDF in the end.....
