I've been having similar problems.
We had a Mac OS10 machine. We bought a new copy and went from Pitstop 6.5 to Pitstop 7.0 and lost our ability to embed fonts effectively. We then got our new workstation in and migrated the Pitstop 7.0 to the new Intel Mac and kept 6.5 on our old OS10 machine. And now we're having problems with both machines embedding fonts.
It seems to work fine if you run embed all fonts, and then run the pdf through our Pitstop Server. But if you embed all fonts and then just drop into Prinergy it will kick it out. BUT a preflight will say it did indeed embed all fonts. Having a great deal of trouble finding information about this problem or potential solutions.
