Rasterizing the job requires several things to be in place before hand...

- you also need a raster plug in from the vendor (usually an extra cost)

- use a file that is saved as a EPS file with 8 Bit TIFF feature for previewing
you'll find this in the "save as" feature within CS2 ,,, once you make a name you'll find another set of options that appear.

If you use a PDF work flow you can save the impositioned file as a PDF to your desktop by saving the file as a PDF to preview it in ACROBAT or READER - but it may not appear in the imposition preview unless it has the ability built in or you paid for the plug in.

Try disablilng your antivirus program (if any) and see if it works. Re-enable whenever possible.

Be sure you have plenty of free disk space on your RIP. At least 2 gigs.

Windows system file utility....
IF you are using Windows XP or other NTFS file system from Microsofty
try this operating system command line utility....

Open the command window - go to START, RUN, type in CMD enter
now type CHKDSK /F at the prompt. not cap sensitive but there is a space between the K and the /F

It will tell you it cannot run now but will dismount the volume and run on next restart say yes by hitting Y now type EXIT and if it was done properly
it will leave a message that the program will run on the next restart.

Shut down and start up the system - it will go to a blueish screen and display several items it is checking..it can take up to 5 minutes to run and will restart on its own.

This will allow the system to fix permission errors and Master file table issues which may be the real culprit behind it all especially if it was working before.

However, if you paid for all of this and none of it works any longer you may need to reinstall the program - especially if it did work before.

Email Dynastrip with your issue if you still have support... they are generally very helpful.
