Syndrome, thanks for the info. These manuals do choke sometimes on the larger page counts. Many are 1000 pages or less. The error only happens when embedding a font. If I use a font through the system tab from the font picker I will get a error on both mac and pc if I run preflight again. If I choose a font from the page and document tab I can run preflight. Another words The font will embed but preflight will not work again after embedding the first font using system font through font picker. On version 6 preflight works great anytime you need it.
