You reckon that sucks. I forked out $4k for a top-of-the-range powerbook, as I didn't want the new mac book things with the new processor. Stuffed if I was going to fork out for new software, you see.
Anyhow, the bastard freezes up every hour or so, which is pure pain. Formatted and started from scratch and nothing. It's under warranty and can be replaced, but I'll end up with the bloody Intel processor that demands new software - unless you want to run in a classic type environment. Not the exact term, but it's got some old native thingy for the software made for the power pc machines.
Should have just purchased a G5 and left it in the study.
