CS2 extremly slow bridge even slower

any thought on CS2 yet. I have it on my G5, blah blah installed, and it is much slower than previous versions. open a complex indy document is painfull, there are some advantages, but very slow i have to say.
photoshop does some weird things sometimes, like leaving photoshop and going back to the finder when i copy something.

the bridge is also not very helpfull, when i try to navigate to a folder on the server it takes ages for every layer. click on a folder and wait for a minute to get to the next level.
sure i could drag from the finder the folder straight into the favorites, (what i am doing now), but that's not how it is intended.

any thoughts?
cheers, dimitri
