We did some test printing for quite a while with one of the companies trying to develop this. It was very interesting. They brought their own ink and materials. Sometimes we used our plates, other times they made their own somehow. But, everything had to be perfect, it was scary. As for the files, they usually just gave us an Illustrator file. So the margin of error was really just "on press"
