well make sure that the all those startup registry entries can be verified. Deleting program files instead of uninstalling will leave rogue entries in your registry and cause things like this. And double check that you don't have any old instances of Norton in there. That program tends to be a bit sloppy when uninstalling and/or upgrading to newer versions.
