Tried changing the memory up to 120,000, and there's no difference in the preview time at all.

I tried it in regular preview with a large file (55 M pdf/24.1M ps file) and changing the memory had no change at all. 35 seconds to preview either way (30,000 and 120,000).

Then I tried it with the signature preview, and zero difference in time between 30,000 and 120,000.

Any clues?
