Pagemakerguy... et al.
In less than a year since the
commercial release of Azura,
we now have over 300 customers,
such as "Santa" from Lodi.
All speak to Azura's ease of
performance on press, it's extended
run length over the published specs,
the simplicity of the gumming unit
(no - it's not a processor - since the
image is fused by the laser in the engine),
and the wide lattitude.
Also key is the ability to see the image
for QC purposes, and the ability to
have the plate laying around the shop
for a few days if customer approval
or shop workflow issues cause delay.
We are pleasantly surprised how large
shops are actually switching to Azura -
we had expected mostly small - mid-sized
printers.
Yes, we have a B1 gumming station now
(but one could have turned the plate
sideways before!). We have the plate being
used in nearly all models of existing
thermal devices on the market.
I'd be happy to go on - but I suspect
you all would rather hear from users.
If you have specific questions you'd
like to take off-forum - then feel free
to e-mail me.
Regards,
Steve.
