QXP 4.1 Command-S gets Save As instead of Save
Is it okay to post this non-graphics question?
In QuarkXPress 4.1 (139) to which I have just been forced to upgrade because 3.2 "expired" Jan-1-2004, on my 9600/233 Mac using System 9.1 or 7.6.1, every time I hit Command-S, or choose Save from the menu, the Save As dialog box comes up, requiring me to stop and make sure that I'm still aiming the save towards the correct folder, then click Replace. I looked in Preferences but couldn't find any setting to get rid of this. Does anyone know how I can return to the normal expectation that when working on a document, every few minutes I should be able to hit Save and it will write to the existing file in half a second without any dialog box showing up. By the way, when I choose Save As, it still functions the same way, i.e. there is zero difference between Save and Save As.
